About Us

Ece learned the basics of floristry in Halifax's longest standing flower shop. After that, she worked in boutique West Coast floral studios and found her passion in natural floral design with the influence of her Turkish culture.

After seeing so many flowers thrown away, she started experimenting with dried arrangements. That’s when she discovered techniques to make dried flowers look just as stunning as fresh ones.

She started High and Dry Flowers, a Halifax-based florist studio specializing in dried flowers, to inspire people to see the beauty of dried flowers as she does. And to encourage sustainable practices in the floral industry.
