About Us

Based in Nova Scotia, Scotia Kelp Products sustainably harvests, processes, and through research and development, creates all-natural skin, plant and pet care products derived from sea algae. Sea algae, better known as kelp, Oarweed and more specifically Laminaria Digitata, is part of the brown algae family, and has been an area of study for many years. Currently we process Laminaria Digitata exclusively. Its wonderful biological properties have long attracted medical professionals for its many unique bio-actives.

Commonly known as seaweed, it's an incredible mineral, nutrient and vitamin-rich kelp found in the Northern Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Nova Scotia. With over 65 readily available minerals, vitamins, micro-nutrients, antioxidants, amino acids, and trace elements, this kelp is highly sought-after.
