About Us

Brookes Diamond Productions (BDP) is Atlantic Canada’s longest-running, most recognized entertainment production company. Principals, Brookes Diamond and Fiona Diamond, specialize in artist development, concert promotion and event production. They have created landmark TV and live productions including the nationally-televised Ha!ifax Comedy Festival and the multi-media stage performance based on diverse cultures – DRUM!, along with 360° immersive films at Sea Dome on the Halifax waterfront. Most recently, they have co-created a new production, Juba’lee Legacy, in collaboration with the Black Culture Centre of Nova Scotia. They produced the Resounding Concert - Dalhousie Arts Centre's 40th Anniversary concert.

BDP has managed the careers of major artists including Rita MacNeil, Sharon, Lois and Bram, Rankin Family, Bruce Guthro and Reeny Smith and has produced shows from Sydney Opera House to Times Square, New York City.

Concert promotions include: Jerry Seinfeld, Bruce Cockburn, Gordon Lightfoot, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Idol, Barra MacNeils, Tis The Season starring Bette MacDonald, Island Girls featuring Bette MacDonald and Heather Rankin, among many. Recipients of numerous awards over their long career, the Diamonds were awarded the Chamber of Commerce Persons of the Year, and both were recipients of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 for their contribution to Canada. In 2016 the Diamonds were inducted into the inaugural Casino Music Nova Scotia Hall of Fame.
